Community Technical Update
Giving our Testing Community an overview on what the development team have been working on this week 👨💻
🔧 Rootless Containers 👇
Work has continued on rootless containers so that permissions can be tighter for the compute provider machines.
We have successfully tested persistence for jobs that fail so that they can be restarted from a last known good checkpoint, we are now working on sharing that persistence data with other potential compute providers so that adhoc jobs are fault tolerant or multi GPU jobs can scale easily across nodes.
There are a few easy options for this but we are working on trying to make it as lightweight and efficient as possible with the least amount of moving parts.
🛜 Network Tokenomics
We have been spending at tokenomics and the best fit for public alpha use cases and there has also been a flurry of testing the many builds of DMS that have come through our gitlab pipeline. We have had some fundamental changes to logging and how the oracle and DMS interact so there has been a lot to work through.

A new DMS Build is on its way to our community with significant improvements such as
👉🏻 Real Time Data
👉🏻 Use of filters using Peer ID to see what your device has ran
👉🏻 Giving NTX reward Stats
👉🏻 Seeing available CPU, RAM Available and what has been used
👉🏻 Heart beat events
👉🏻 Service calls - Get info on jobs running or have ran on NuNet Public Alpha Testnet

📣 Public Alpha Testnet Update
We are moving forward with testing🤝
The dev team has been working hard to complete all stages set out for the Public Alpha Testing Campaign 1 which tests all core components of the NuNet platform and the #ProjectCatalyst funded #Decentralized #GPU #ML use case 🎉
With this we are excited to announce the release of updated versions for our Service Provider Dashboard (SPD), Compute Provider Dashboard (CPD) and Device Management Service (DMS):
DMS v0.4.125 👉🏻
SPD V0.1.10 👉🏻
CPD v0.1.7 👉🏻
Testers are asked to reinstall new versions of DMS, SPD and CPD in order to complete testing stages
